US approves sale of anti-ship missiles and torpedoes to India

The United States Department of State has approved two potential defence deals worth 155 million USD with India.
The first deal is for the Harpoon anti-ship missile system and related equipment.
The second deal is for torpedoes and related equipment.
These torpedoes are expected to enhance India’s anti-submarine warfare capability.
