- The State Bank of India has been given preliminary approval to open 100 per cent-owned branches in Myanmar.
- Indian Railways is going set up Special Railway Establishment for Strategic Technology and Holistic Advancement (SRESHTA), a new entity that will be responsible for long-term research for improving the functioning of the Railways.
