Japan declares emergency due to COVID-19

Japan’s Prime Minister Shinzo Abe today proposed a state of emergency to control the rapid spread of Coronavirus Disease 2019.
This state of emergency will be applicable to Tokyo and five other regions in Japan.
He has also announced a stimulus package worth one trillion US dollar to overcome the crisis.
This state of emergency will last for a month.
