ITEC Day celebrated in Bangladesh

The High Commission of India celebrated the 57th Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) day in Dhaka recently.
ITEC is a flagship programme of the Government of India.
It was established in 1964 to offer the benefit of India’s development experience and appropriate technologies to the developing countries.
Every year, more than 10,000 training slots are offered to 161 partner countries for training courses in various areas like Accounts, Audit, Management, Rural Development and Parliamentary Affair.
More than 4,000 Bangladeshi professionals have undergone these specialized courses in India under the ITEC programme since 2007.
