India was ranked 5th in Foreign Direct Investments in the world in 2020.
This was mainly due to the acquisitions in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) industry.
This was reported in the “World Investment Report 2021” released by the UN Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD).
