India exports Dragon Fruit to Dubai

India recently exported a consignment of “Dragon Fruit” to Dubai.
This fruit is rich in fibre, vitamins, minerals and anti-oxidants.
It was sourced from farmers in the Sangli district, Maharashtra.
This fruit is referred to as “Kamalam” in India.
The cultivation of this fruit requires less water and can be grown in various kinds of soils.
