IIT Madras creates high-performance Magnesium alloy

The Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM) has developed a high-performance Magnesium alloy with significantly improved properties.
This was developed in collaboration with teams from IIT Madras, University of North Texas, and US Army Research Laboratory.
This alloy can potentially replace steel and aluminium alloys in automotive and aerospace components.
